Who we are

As a family-owned business, our colleagues’ and customers’ health and welfare are our top priority. We are not alone in needing to take swift measures in response to the Coronavirus outbreak. At Mactaggart & Mickel we have taken all possible steps to ensure that the latest guidance on Coronavirus is followed. In response to this, our Offices, Sites and Timber Kit Factory have now closed, whereas our Private Rental Sector division remains open and fully operational. There will be further notification in due course when it is deemed safe to re-open the business. We’d like to say a heartfelt ‘thank you’ to our customers and our colleagues for their support and understanding at this difficult and challenging time.

Where we are

Trusted Rentals in Highly Connected Locations

We are trusted because we care about you and your home.

You are our priority. We select our properties for their desirable, well-connected locations because we know that’s where you and we want to live.

  • SE14 NEW CROSS 40 properties

Home to Goldsmith’s University – whose alumni include seven Turner Prize winners – New Cross is more than another corner of SE London. Long recognised as having a live music scene to rival any other London neighbourhood, its food scene is propelling the area up the culinary ranks of London with pubs and restaurants galore.

With a direct link to London Bridge via two Overground stations and all the buses you could need, New Cross is perfect.

  • SE24 CAMBERWELL 8 properties

Camberwell has long been recognised for its Georgian architecture with famous treelined streets, such a Camberwell Grove, but it is its artistic edge that has been grabbing headlines in more recent years. Home to Camberwell College of Arts (part of University of the Arts London) and the award-winning South London Gallery, SE5 is bursting with creativity.

Demand for properties in Camberwell is booming with independent restaurants, cafes and bars popping up all over the area and a plethora of buses and Denmark Hill Station available to make any commute into Central London a doddle.

  • EH13 EDINBURGH 300+ properties

At its maddest during August, there is much more to Scotland’s capital city than the Fringe Festival.

Layers of history make Edinburgh a fascinating city to explore and its burgeoning food and drink scene and independent shops have aided in it being named the best city to live in in the world by global consultancy Arcadis.
